The great E.O.Wilson once said:

“The real problem of humanity is the following: we have paleolithic emotions; medieval institutions; and god-like technology”

In short, we’re cavemen who think we’re supermen.

No wonder the world’s so screwed up.

There’s so much bullshit out there that it’s sometimes difficult to know what the hell’s actually going on.

So this is an attempt to make sense of some of the interesting things that are happening at the intersection of culture, technology and communications.

It’s got a bit of a marketing slant to it because, in my spare time, I’m an brand strategist – ex Wieden + Kennedy, now working independently as founder and CSO of Untapped Strategy.

It’s a funny old future, and it’s only going to get stranger.
